The side sawn timber

It is formed when the wood is sawn in parallel with the main sawn timber. It is made up of lateral stem elements, making it less thick (19-25 mm). This makes the side sawn timber ideal for use as planks or as raw material for wood-framed windows. The side sawn timber produced at our sawmill in Chociwel comes both in wet and dry options.

  1. How do you store sawn pine timber?
  • roofed building with ventilation,
  • store sawn timber in a dry place not exposed to direct weather,
  • wood should be placed on stable supports so that it does not warp,
  • do not store sawn timber longer than necessary.
